Mission to Haiti
Our St. Andrew's Mission Team has returned from Haiti with wonderful stories to tell. They delivered our mite box offering and banner to St. Peter's School in Berault. They returned with a banner with the handprints of our new friends at St. Peter's, and a painting of Mary with baby Jesus for the chapel! Stay tuned for opportunities to expand our much-needed offering of school lunches. This summer we are learning the Lord's Prayer in French to honor our partnership. Plot Against Hunger
At St. Andrew's, we have been richly blessed with lots of property and beautiful grounds. We believe that God would have us use our property to feed God's people. So we all work together to take care of our garden and orchard, and we give everything we grow to AFAC. Watch the Shining the Light for work days, and sign up to weed, water and harvest. Working in the garden is a great project for families of all ages. |
